The long-standing MICE Hall of Fame Award is reimagining itself and will place greater emphasis on impact, transformation, and sustainable relevance going forward. We are delighted that our Founder & Managing Partner, Jesper Götsch, is part of the jury for this newly designed award.

For many years, the MICE Hall of Fame Award has been one of the most established honors in the German-speaking meetings, incentives, conventions, and events industry. With this reorientation, the organizers aim to recognize companies and individuals whose projects and initiatives have an impact beyond individual events and shape the long-term development of the industry.

In the future, the awards will be presented in two categories: Companies will be recognized for their contributions in areas such as sustainability, technology, leadership, creativity, and innovation, among others. In addition, individuals will be honored as Newcomer of the Year, Manager of the Year, and with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The jury brings together representatives from academia, the media, industry associations, and the field, and oversees the selection process based on the newly defined criteria. Together with the other jury members, Jesper will participate in the first edition of the revamped awards.

The inaugural MICE Hall of Fame Awards ceremony will take place on April 29, 2027, at the Rheinterrassen in Düsseldorf. We are particularly pleased that Jesper is part of the jury. The reorientation of the awards addresses topics currently shaping the events industry and highlights projects and individuals who are helping to shape the industry’s long-term transformation.
