Think globally. Act locally.
International companies develop workplace models that work across locations. They define principles for structure, use, and brand translation that are applicable worldwide. This approach creates consistency and orientation.
At the same time, each workplace is created in a specific context. Buildings, cities, work culture, and surroundings influence how spaces are perceived and used. If this context is not taken into account, workplaces quickly become interchangeable.
Regionality in the workplace therefore does not mean using local motifs decoratively. It describes the conscious translation of an overarching concept into a specific location. The conceptual framework remains intact. The characteristics respond to the location.

This logic is evident at the Wiprotel in Frankfurt. The underlying model is internationally transferable and defines clear principles for spatial organization. At the same time, its implementation deliberately draws on local references.
The barista bar in the reception area pays homage to Frankfurt's water kiosks, making a subtle reference to local identity. It is part of the functional structure of the space and encourages informal interaction.
The staircase also references the location. The glass railing echoes the diamond pattern of Frankfurt's apple wine glasses, integrating this reference into the architectural language.
Both elements show how regional anchoring can work within a globally conceived system. The principle remains consistent. The context becomes visible without changing the model. Regionality thus becomes not a design addition, but an integral part of an internationally scalable workplace concept.
