Wiprotel Frankfurt

First Steps into a New Work Era

With Wiprotel Frankfurt, another building block in technology company Wipro's Europe-wide vision has been created in Frankfurt's Senckenberg Tower: a working environment that combines hospitality, atmosphere, and functionality. On three floors with a total of around 2,800 square meters, we have worked with Wipro to create an environment that rethinks work: inspired by the world of hospitality, characterized by flexibility and a clear architectural vision.

Between office and hotel

The Wiprotel (a combination of the words Wipro and hotel) applies the principles of hospitality to the workplace. The guiding principle of “work to suit your mood” runs through all levels: rooms that combine retreat, exchange, and comfort and intuitively adapt to different work situations.

The design is based on a timelessly understated atmosphere, which is given a special quality by natural, expertly crafted materials. Subtly nuanced natural colors and subtle contrasts set accents and give the overall concept its harmonious, representative aura.

An office with character

The three floors of the Wiprotel are connected vertically by a newly created, sculptural staircase, which redefines the building as a functional and aesthetic centerpiece. To integrate it, a new opening was created between the floors – an intervention that, for the first time, enables an open, flowing connection between the levels. The glass railing of the staircase echoes the diamond pattern of Frankfurt's apple wine glass. A barista bar in the reception area also pays subtle homage to the local identity, referencing Frankfurt's water kiosks.

Zone-based working

Wiprotel Frankfurt brings together different business units under one roof—a place that creates a shared identity and promotes synergy between teams. The spatial structure is divided into zone-based work, meeting, and relaxation areas that cater to all needs:

  • Lobby & Lounge – An open reception area with concierge service that transitions seamlessly into lounge zones and offers space for informal encounters.
  • Bistro – More than just a place for breaks: this is where people meet to eat, exchange ideas, and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Library – A retreat for concentrated, undisturbed work, offering a quiet alternative to the open workspaces.
  • Suites – Flexible meeting rooms with different designs for workshops, teamwork, and creative processes, which can be adapted to different usage requirements.
  • Apartments – Comfortably designed areas for longer stays or focused work in a private environment.

Following locations in cities such as London, Paris, and Stuttgart, Wiprotel Frankfurt continues the vision of creating a scalable, identity-building model for flexible workspaces. It demonstrates how architecture, design, and services merge into a holistic brand experience—and how spaces are created that harmonize culture, function, and atmosphere.

The project was awarded the iF Design Award in the Interior Architecture discipline in 2026. It received the award in the Corporate and Office Interiors category.
