When ancient columns meet modern minimalism
The Frankfurt fashion scene has become one more top shopping address richer: In the heart of the Hessian metropolis – right at Opernplatz – Andreas Beenen has opened his men’s boutique beenen with exclusive fashion labels such as Tramarossa, Parajumpers, Manuel Ritz, and Scotch & Soda.
Jazzunique developed both the shop concept and the corporate design for the new store. The entire draft picks up the classicistic building architecture with the antique pillars in the entry section and, with the reduced design, deliberately makes a counterpoint in the store interior. To manufacture an optimal connection between exclusive fashion and interior design, Jazzunique went with a light coloring scheme and a distinguished interior furnishing with clear line management. The rectangular layout of the retail space also demanded to enhance the space optically according to design measures. That was achieved by a generous mirroring on the side and the accentuation of the rear store area.
The interaction from white marble as a floor surface and classic-understated furniture in an oak look emphasizes the highlights of the room and supports the soft, light-friendly atmosphere. A copper-colored goods presentation wall as an eye-catcher in the rear portion of the men’s boutique ensures that the total store gains depth.
Fitting for the copper wall are two exclusive lamps designed by Jazzunique, which are a peculiarity of the store design. As a visual highlight, the design crew created various neon contours, which bring out main design points in the display window and at the checkout desk and the mirror surface of the side wall. These elements contribute effectively to the long-distance effect of the men’s boutique.
