THE SPARKS THAT INSPIRES
For the second time Jazzunique was privileged, along with Merck as host and Manager Magazine, to make a substantial contribution to the planning and realisation of the Hall of Fame of German Research. In this context the event design played an important part, so as to put across the idea of the occasion. A particular challenge this year was to incorporate Merck’s new and extremely striking Corporate Design with the gala evening in such a way as to make a harmonious impression.
The significance and exclusiveness of the prizegiving ceremony and of this year’s location, the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden, was reflected in the enormously upmarket haptic materials and gold pigments. The contrasting colour tonalities emphasised the excitement and tension associated with this important award. The quadrilateral design of the invitation booklet set up a connection with the main design element of the venue, a cube which also functioned as a projection surface.
